The Kingdom of Swaziland, through the Swaziland Electricity Company (SEC), seeks to procure the service of an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor to build a 10-MW solar power plant.
SEC has launched a Request for Qualifications (RfQ) to shortlist EPC contractors for the project. The deadline for filing applications is June 27.
The goal is to have the plant up and running by the end of July 2019. Once the sought EPC contractor achieves commissioning, it will hand over the facility to SEC, which will take care of its operation and maintenance.
