Vestas has received an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order from Daehan Wind Power for the 52 MW Tafila wind park in Jordan.
The contract includes the supply, transport, installation and commissioning of 15 V136-3.45 MW turbines and it is Vestas’ fourth EPC contract for utility-scale wind parks in the country.
The order includes a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement for the operation and maintenance of the wind park, while turbine delivery is planned for the third quarter of 2019, whilst commissioning is expected in the first quarter of 2020.
